I'm going to have you in the end, you know. Posted at 5:50 PM 0 comments (+)

There comes a time in any relationship when you really have to assess if it’s going anywhere. Some people can be content with some casual that may or may not mean something, whereas others need some sort of commitment, reinforcement and constant involvement from the other person to make you feel like you’re important; like they actually care. And no matter how much you may like someone or enjoy the time you spend with them, you have to ask yourself whether it’s worth the stress, or hurt or tears that come about with certain uncertainties. The truth is, it makes you feel stupid if you’re stressing out or crying about things that the other person finds futile, or doesn’t even think about in their day-to-day lives. There are people whom we really like and think the world of, but don’t think the same of us. Yes, it may be fun for some time, and fulfilling, and make you happy, but at the end of the day you have to ask yourself if it’s going anywhere. If someone doesn’t want to be with you, and you want to be with them, why settle for something half-assed? It’s hard to let go, but letting go is the only way to find something better.
